1. Selection of abrasives.
The most commonly used abrasives are brown corundum (A) and white corundum (WA), followed by black silicon carbide (C) and green silicon carbide (GC), and the rest are some auxiliary materials. A piece of good grinding wheel, the color is very clean, without a trace of variegation, like a work of art, very beautiful.
2. The choice of granularity.
When grinding with a coarse-grained abrasive wheel, the production efficiency is high, but the surface of the workpiece is rough. When grinding with a fine-grained abrasive wheel, the surface roughness of the ground workpiece is better, but the productivity is lower. Under the premise of meeting the roughness requirements, coarse-grained abrasive wheels should be selected as much as possible to ensure high grinding efficiency. Generally, coarse-grained abrasive wheels are used for rough grinding, and fine-grained abrasive wheels are used for fine grinding.
3. Choice of hardness.
When grinding soft materials, choose harder abrasive wheels, and when grinding hard materials, choose soft grinding wheels. When grinding non-ferrous metals that are soft and tough, the hardness should be softer.
4. The choice of binder.
Vitrified bond is an inorganic bond with stable chemical properties, good heat resistance, corrosion resistance and large porosity. The grinding wheel made of this bond has high grinding efficiency and low wear. It can better maintain the geometry of the abrasive wheel and has the widest range of applications.
5. The choice of packaging.
Sophisticated packaging and printed anti-counterfeit barcodes are the difference between genuine products and counterfeit products. The packaging of the abrasive wheel will contain a desiccant, in order to prevent the grinding wheel from getting wet. Vacuum packaging is to refuse contact with air.
