The static balance of the cutting disc can be operated as follows:
1. Put the cutting disc on the balance frame and turn the cutting disc. When the cutting disc is unbalanced, it will stop at the heavy place, and the heaviest part of the cutting disk is at the bottom. At this time, make a mark on the flange with a pen that can be used as a marker.
2.Install a balance block at the position marked by the marker, turn the screw counterclockwise, and gently clamp the balance block in the groove of the flange.
3.Rotate the cutting discby 180 degrees, install a balance block on the left and right positions 120 degrees away from the marker pen, rotate the screw counterclockwise, and gently clamp the balance block in the groove of the flange.
4.Rotate the cutting disc90 degrees so that the marked marker note number is in a horizontal position, and then release your hand. When rotating clockwise, move the B and C balance weights by the same angle in the relative direction according to the method shown in the figure; when rotating counterclockwise, move the B and C balance weights in the opposite direction by the same angle according to the diagram method to adjust until the hand leaves the cutting discand stays still.
5.Repeat the 4 operations to balance the cutting disc, and tighten the three screws of the balance weight after balancing.
6.The cutting disccompletes the static balance. Remove the cutting discfrom the balance frame and it can work normally.
Principle of cutting disc balance bracket:
The cutting disc balance bracket is made of high-quality materials as the balance shaft. After heat treatment and precise processing and assembly, it has high precision and stable performance. It is an ideal machine tool accessory. Generally, cutting discs with a diameter greater than 125mm must be balanced so that the center of gravity of the cutting disk coincides with the axis of rotation.
The unbalanced cutting disc will vibrate when rotating at high speed, which will affect the processing quality and accuracy of the machine tool. In severe cases, it will also cause machine tool damage and cutting disk chipping. The main cause of imbalance is the uneven density of each part of the cutting disk and asymmetrical geometry. And installation eccentricity and so on.
Therefore, balance must be carried out before installing the cutting disc. The balance of the cutting disc has two types: static balance and dynamic balance. Under normal circumstances, only static balance is required, but dynamic balance must be performed during high-speed grinding (speed greater than 50m/s) and high-speed grinding.
When balancing, install the cutting disk on the balance mandrel, and then place the mounted cutting disc on the balance guide (or bearing-type mandrel) of the cutting disk balance bracket. The cutting disk will swing back and forth until the swing stops. The balanced cutting disk can stand still at any position. If the cutting disk is not balanced, its heavier part always goes down. At this time, the position of the balance weight can be moved to achieve balance.
